Our Classes

School Hours 10am – 2pm

• Parkwood WEE Center begins after Labor Day and ends the Thursday before Memorial Day

• All classes meet from 10am – 2pm

• Children are put into classes with children of similar ages. They are grouped by birth date and number of days preferred.  See chart below for details.

• Optional Extended Day After School Enrichment Classes are offered to children 2.5 years and older.  See below for details.

• We follow Fairfax County Public Schools policies for holidays, teacher work days, and school closings and delayed openings due to inclement weather.

Class Schedule: Age Range by September 30, 2024

Students do not need to be potty-trained for the following classes:

Age Class Days
15 Months Old 2-day: Tuesday & Thursday

2 Years Old 2-day: Wednesday & Friday
3-day: Monday / Wednesday / Friday

2 ½ - 3 ½ Years Old 2 day: Tuesday & Thursday
3-day: Monday / Wednesday / Friday

Students must be potty-trained for the following classes:

After School Stay and Play

The WEE Center offers Stay and Play for students 2.5 years and up. Children will be in mixed age groups working with two WEE Center teachers. Each session will run for six weeks and is dependent upon sufficient enrollment and staffing.

Session 4 will be held Monday - Friday, February 18 through March 28. Download the enrollment form here.

Two options are available for enrolling in Stay and Play. Either option requires a nonrefundable annual, one-time enrollment fee of $30. Space is limited and forms will be processed in the order received:

Option 1: $70 fee for one day a week for the entire 6 week session
(register for 2 days a week equals $140 for session)

Option 2: “Pay as you Go” fee: $20 per class. (Parents can request participation by 12pm on the class day. Children may only attend the class if space is available.)
